A surprising amount of the trade guys that appear to have more money than they can handle really only have more payments than they can handle. Theres a lot of guys that I work with that still live paycheque to paycheque after 10 years of working up north.

Tradesmen tend to be terrible with their money.
My mothers a financial advisor so I had a lot of guidance in how to turn small amounts of money into larger amounts. Without her nagging on me for the last 15 years I'd be surprised if I had a grand to my name.

Plant operator is my gig, currently running a brand new waste water facility in northern Alberta.
Work 14 on 14 off
Pays the bills and gives lots of time for biking and sledding.

I'm a mechanical engineer and work on projects in these fields:

- Semi-conductor industry
- Astronomy and Space
- Scientific and Physics Experiments

My job includes the development and build of prototypes and nowadays products of our actuator range.
