Pull shock from way back. Schwinn had a similar setup for the Straight 88.

It was called the Straight 8.

4, if I remember correctly, always wanted an atx, always will, lovely bike.

Here's a few images I got from an ebay auction that took place in 2008:

Also here's a few from a user on pb, think this sold in 2009 though.

2006/2007 is where my personal "old" school mythical line is drawn... and i LOOOOOOOVE them Straight8's, DH8's & DH9's!!! I have a picture of my Straight 8 posted somewhere in this thread

I really liked the look of the prototype ATX One, more than the final version of it.
But normal one was a great ride too - I had the BETD 8" upgrade plates on it and my old monsters.
The monsters didnt really suit it though, too heavy.

Excuse the state of the room, I was about 16-17ish and a messy student when I had this! ^_^ (coming up for 30 now - wow time flies)

Sorry about the blurry pic but I just acquired this after wanting one since 2001.
It had no frame decals so I got some on Friday and gave him a good polish. I can't find any fork leg decals for the Shivers though Frown
This is a work in progress, I already changed the bars, seat and I bought a period MRP too which should be here any day.

Thanks very much.

It's going to be used too as it's the only DH bike I have.

Very awesome.

I wanted a Stab Primo for several years, but never got one.
With that said I ended up getting some decent rides during the years.
Still, you can't go wrong with a nice old Kona.
