They are both claimed to be awesome rigs and I'm sure they are. There really isn't a company producing a top tier AM bike out there at the moment that wont blow you away. The transition will likely be less expensive however so I think that makes it a sound choice.

I'm pretty happy with mine(enduro), it's overkill for my trails in the direct vicinity, but if I can take the time to ride for 3-4 hours, I can get back to the goods where it shines. I do desperately want to build up an uber light murdered out sworks epic, but the wife wanted a puppy...

I absolutely agree but this guy is set one those two bikes for some reason. Enduro's pretty much kick ass.
