Dude I think it depends on what type of bike you enjoy riding more. Does a poppier dh rig that you bounce around on make you happy or a super high traction magic carpet bike make you happy? That's what is important. I'm not a racer but love riding my Jedi because its one of these virtual HP magic carpet bikes. I just enjoy the ride feel. Don't worry about performance optimization as much as fun.
