well, it depends what terrain your tackling...

park (whistler)- specialized demo 8

steep/tech- yeti 303 DH

lighter, dry DH- yeti 303 RDH

race light machine- intense 951

looks- Transition TR450

and in the middle of all these bikes, is the morewood makulu and the evil revolt.
I'm goon start by saying yah the demo is sick for everything but the 951 isn't......it's really loud for some reason and eats up suspension and the morewood doesn't ride nice at all and the yetis make an awful noise when you don't put grease in the grease ports and they feel really sluggish

Also the 951 isnt really that light. 3.6kg w/o shock is mediecore. Glory/Session/Mondraker/Fury/v10carbon/Antidote/antidote carbons are much lighter.

As for the best bike - Banshee Legend. A bit of a handfull for the park but when it gets rough or fast you will start smiling. That is certain.

Kona Operator. I got one 3 days ago and it's way nicer that my Turner DHR. Super stiff, pedals quite well, really easy to pin round corners, great bike. And if money wasn't an issue, I'd get the top of the range one, and pimp it out even more (2012 Fox 40's ...)
