5 1/2 years and 9200 miles on the nomad
That's impressive... that's about twice as long as I've ever kept a bike.

Damn. That's sweet to spend that much time on the same bike. Still looks like a ripper.

Thanks, it was actually my first time here (Twin Lakes, CO). I had just hiked up Mt. Elbert (14,439ft) and then ridden back down. Still awesome to have access to a place like this though. And she does indeed still rip.

Thanks, I'm hoping I can eek out 10k miles on it before getting something new. Also weird to think I've had this bike for 1/4 of my life haha.

Some potato pics of my new ride...hasn’t arrived yet via bikeflights so these are the pics from the previous owner.
Knolly warden size L
Fox factory 36 180mm
Cane creek coil 160
Hope 4 piston brakes
Cushcore front and rear
I9 hubs and spank wheels

And yes it has a dropper post -eye roll-

Few things I plan on changing. The bars, pedals, and orange brake lines. I ordered some Michelin DH22 tires.

They're great bikes, I only kept mine like two and half years but was definitely one of the most fun bikes I've owned.

You'd better take it off.

140mm Z1 on now from a 160mm 36. Riser bar to compensate for front end height turned the bike into a little ripper slalom 29er bike

rune or titan? i’m debating selling my hd5 for one of these new banshees, or just buying a new phantom altogether. the chainstay length on these frames is super enticing.
