I dunno... Somefin bout that bike just isn't agreeing with me. I do like the narrow wide, however. Maybe just a bad angle?

the chainring looks very naked and vulnerable and it looks a bit odd with that short of a stem but if it works for you, go for it. I have the narrow/wide and it works great for me.

Anyone on here have a recommendation for what travel to set the Surge to? Picked up a Vengeance and was thinking 130 or 140, probably not much of a difference, but any advice is welcome.

I have mine at 140 and it's ok, wouldn't go lower, but wouldn't mind going higher, it would open up the head angle a bit more.

Thanks, just ordered a couple 10mm spacers to try it out. Sucks that shipping is more than the actual product...

Next time try emailing them they are pretty rad dudes. They may have just hooked them up.

I'm pretty sure that vengeance forks don't need spacers to be dropped in travel.

Mine took the same spacer that fox uses. I spoke with the engineer via phone and he told me it all depends on the individual fork. Some have the holes in the air rod where you can insert the pin, others will require the spacer. I dropped mine to 150 for the Shan for trail riding, but i raise it to 160 sometimes to do more DH stuff. Not too hard and it ensures your fork is always serviced.

Mine only had one option via the air rod pin/plastic ring that dropped it from 170 to 150.
