Looking at the bike check on PB for Fabien Barel's Strive CF, it looks like he is running a different lever for the shapeshifter. Anyone have an idea what it is?

The new love of my life.... A 2015 Canyon Spectral 7.9

I've been into road biking for years but haven't had a MTB since I was a kid. So one day, out of the blue I decided it was time.
After being used to road bikes, the Spectral 7.9 feels like a monster truck... Much bigger (the front tyre looks miles away) and at first I found it tricky to climb it around tight single track hair pin bends. My first impression was how powerful the hydraulic disc brakes are compared to road bike callipers and the Spectral 29er rolls over anything. Great fun.

The electric blue is a beautiful colour (when it's clean and I'm not scuffing the frame after coming off Smile )

Emuvonart... After your first ride with spd. What do you prefer spd or flat?
I find spd more efficient and I feel more part of the bike (because we're literally connected at my foots not slipping or lifting). But, with sudden stops and tight tricky manoeuvres I've fell over :-)

SPD all long....i have to work alot on clipping and unclipping from pedals, but besides that, they are perfect on flat, uphill, and surprizing even on donwhill, more stability and control of the bike Smile Proud of the chice i've made Smile

Why wouldn't you be able to? That frame originally came with either 180mm or 170mm forks

My Strive CF 8.0 Race came with 2 bottomless tokens but you have to assemble them yourself.
