As the title says, the iron horse is a 09 and think the trek is a 10.

Can anyone help to if they have the same ride or if one is much better at cornering etc?

I always wanted an iron horse but just a little worried how they are for getting spares now and if they can still cut it on the downhill tracks with the newer bikes?

You can still get bearings etc, but if the frame cracks youll need to reweld. Because good luck finding spare parts as there is no more iron horse.

Anyways. They are both world cup winning bikes. Yes they can rip. The question is, can you? So choose one and send it. Pin it. Shred it. Brahhhhhhhhhh..chyeeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh

i would go for a trek session, because on wc tracks as sharp corner ect, the sessions shorter wheel base comes into it's own

Sunday has a shorter wheelbase....

In all honesty get whatever bike you want. Go for the Sunday "because you've always wanted one" The more fun you have riding your bike, the chances are the faster you'll be.

Iron horse sunday w/ an angleset is definitely a modern DH bike. The session would probably hold its resale value better in a few years, however.

thats a good point, if it is your dream bike then let nothing hold you back, just buy is!

It may interest you to know that there is a company that is now making carbon front triangles for Sundays, so I reckon if you were to email them you could probably get whatever need to keep the bike rolling!!

I ride an iron horse and it corners better than anything else I have ridden. The bottom bracket is a little low, but it doesn't really affect performance.
