Hi

Im moving to NZ for a year and was wondering about the cost of bikes in NZ. I would have about £2,000 NZD to spend and am after a second hand all mountain/enduro bike. Would I be able to get one out there thats reasonably good?

How much $NZ? If you only have $2000 NZ I'd probably have to say that would be lowest amount needed. $3000 would make things much easier for you. Maybe if your planning on buying in the middle of our winter when there are more bikes avaliable, then you might be able to make do with $2000.

Most second hand bikes are sold via trademe.co.nz - you might want to check this out. But good value for money second hand bikes are hard to find.
