Old parts, new frame = my new favorite bike!
I can't believe how playful this thing is for a 29er.

What size tire are you running in the back? I’m thinking of getting a surface. I’ve been squeezing a 2.6 Hans Dampf in the back of my 2016 Rootdown and love it just wondering if the newer frame have any more clearance.

Thanks. I hummed and hawed between the primer and rootdown but I'm happy to support a Canadian welder during the pandemic, happy to have a really well made frame and couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Bike looks awsome, really making me want to grab a new surface if I can get a decent price for my Rootdown frames.
