Hellooo, I'm slowly building a freeride trail in the wonderfully steep Santa Cruz mountains of California and the cool part is that it's all on my property.

working on a landing for a 15 gap over a ditch/creek thing, the hillside is really steep so its a lot of digging

hopefully i'll be building the wooden launch ramp for the 15-footer next week, so stay tuned for more photos and i hope this inspires you to go build.

Looks really good. You know how to use a hammer.

Looking forward to seeing that 15 footer.

Nice I like it, how big is your property?

thanks for all the comments guys, i wish i was as good with a hammer as shown in the photos, but the wooden stuff was mostly built with my dad doing the hammer work. oh yeah, my property is about 13 acres but it's crazy steep and you have to hike quite a bit to get to the top of it.

i got the 15-gap ladder bridge launch done last weekend, i still have to work on the landing though. unfortunately, the landing is kind of at an awkward angle, but's it not a sick hip or anything. lots of digging still to be done!

Ya well here is a tip i happen to have a trail of my own (and my friends) and with 7 people working for 2-3 months and when we thought we were finished we hiked up to the top and then rode down. it was soo awsome perfect...except for that fact that it was soo short only like 1 minute down it so make it as long as possible to get the most fun out of it.Beer

DUDE I am so jealous. I live in SoCal and I have no where to build because selfish people get pissed or people tear 'em down. Enough of my ranting. Awesome stuff you got goin on. Keep it up!
