I currently have a budget hardtail that has a cheap xct fork. I'm looking to upgrade my bike. What's some good bikes to get around 1500 new or used.

If it is a second bike along side the hardtail, I would go for a full suss.

As a replacement another hardtail would be my suggestion, Nukeproof Scout is a good call.
