Hey I am going to be working at a bike shop pretty soon, as I am planning on taking advantage of the emplyee discount for ordering a new glory 0. I haven't worked at a bike store yet but does anyone know hjow much of a discount is usually given. I know probably alot of you work in bike stores too, what discount do you get?

I personally get what it costs the store minus 20%. This is our prodeals and we order it right from the company itself not through the shop.

yeah giant pro deal/staff deal is 20% off dealer cost on bikes over $1000 and 10% off bikes under $1000

i pay cost at my shop, but if theres an employee discount from a dealer(like santa cruz) you can get it for even cheaper

Thats how my shop works, I cna get a Sunday WC for $4500! So, basically, you'd probably get anywhere from 20%-40% off on bikes, and 50% off parts.
