My bike is almost brand new and I was wondering if it's suppose to have a scratched finish? its a C50 2021 model and it looks like it's been scratched all over the place under the clear coating.

that looks like something has been rubbing on it for sure.

Yeah really annoying. Its like that on the whole frame, but not the matte areas. I contacted RM and they told me to claim warranty at the shop. Wonder how long it will take to get a new frame.

interesting, its like it was a demo frame or something - They should let you keep riding that frame untill new one arrives.

Is it even possible to make a bike look like that in a year if it was for demo before I bought it? I think the finish is bad from the factory.

Its like that on all the glossy parts of the frame. Anyone else with a 2021 altitude here that can check their bikes?

O+

Its all fine on mine, also after more than a year.

However, I had the feeling that it is a bit on the sensitive side when you attach things to the frame as it started to have similar scratches in that area. So i put transparent tape around the parts of the frame where i have my tube attached (simpler and easier than a full frame protection...)
