Interested if anyone has a comparison they can make? I have a 38 and find it too stiff at times, wondering how the Z1 lines up. Not many non-38mm stanchion options for a 170mm 29er now, unfortunately.

You can still get a 170 air spring for the fox 36. It rides great. I haven’t tried the z1.

Z1 coil and it is good, a little heavy but smooth. I haven’t ridden a 38 though. I had a lyric before and it seems about the same in rigidity, but coil is better.
