Is the 5010 in a category of its own?

Title pretty much says it. I had a 2018 5010 for about a year but had to sell it to pay off medical bills (that I sustained on the bike…) now I have a 150/140 trail bike and a commencal meta sx. Both super lovely but I’m looking to get another crazy fun jib bike like the 5010. From the research I’ve done there are plenty of options SORT OF like the 5010, but I havent found anything that’s built purely for fun. I don’t want an xc race bike, and I don’t want a mini enduro, I want something that wants to pop every little rock and root and handle steep lips like a DJ. Looking at a V4 5010 as my most likely option but they’re stupid expensive and I want to make sure I’m not overlooking any good options before I pull the trigger

Have you looked at the Transition Smuggler?

On a V4 5010, would suggest an Airdrop filter (Pretty much identical geo and travel and intended usage)

Contact Boone Cycles... some crazy good deals on the 2023 Yeti sb140 (older version, 27.5, not the new 29er one that came out in 2024). I picked one up at an amazing price for my son last week. Got the last small! The older sb140 (new 2024 is now the sb135) is Yeti's version of the 5010. I have had a medium one for a couple years now, and it definitely likes to play!

Just for info sake, in 2024 the sb140 switched from a 27.5 to a 29er, and what WAS the sb140 became the new sb135. Confusing, don't know why they did it that way.
