Does anyone know where I can find the announcement for the new "powerseller" account type that gives you unlimited posts?
It looks like it was rolled out this week with no announcement.
For $349.95 USD per Year it seems like a very reasonable deal!
I had to delete a bunch of my forsale stuff so that I can post something new. Now that the limit is 10 posts per outside member, limit of 2 for regular users.
I guess its time to change my post style to have all my items in one post!

If they made an announcement, it would have pissed people off prematurely. Instead, we're all suprised when we can't renew our ads. The question is did the articles drive users to the Classifieds or did the huge Classified section bring people to the articles?

This. I logged in the other day and noticed that everything was restricted except for two ads. And apparently, you can't have any sold ads either. It won't let me relist my current two ads until I delete every single thing except for those two. Ridiculous overreach. It's the owners discretion to cash out but it just stinks because anytime big corporations buy smaller companies like pink bike, they always turn it into a glorified revenue generator. :two cents:
$90 a year for Outside+ was worth it previously to have unlimited ads and trailforks membership and all the other things. But now they want $350USD for Powerseller and it doesn't automatically include the outside+ stuff?! For a classifieds section that draws less attention than Ebay or Kijiji or Craiglist or let's face it...FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE ?! No thank you. I've had SEVEN items sell thru ads here in the past six months. I used to do 20-30 sales a month on ebay before I quit using that platform due to how badly they treat sellers. FB marketplace is where its at and its free, with cross posting across multiple groups. Hell Kijiji in Canada (which is owned by ebay) is 6 free active listings at a time for non-paying users.
"Over the past 15+ years our costs for running the BuySell have increased dramatically. Our new pricing will allow us to increase moderation and development, and make other platform improvements for our users" ...Ok Pinkbike, whatever you say. How about you tinker with something else on the site for once. I really don't want my dashboard filled with Trailforks notifications, how about looking after that one first?

having many sold items shows you are regularly selling and not a scam account, do they want to get rid of that for what reason?
Marketplace and eBay from now on for me. They will realize soon enough they messed up. Buy and sell was what made me log on and read their articles. With that now gone, I doubt I will be back very often if at all. So long Pinkbike ..
yeah its all kinda ridiculous. This used to be a community space, now its a business. Good thing they got the White Claw ad on the homepage, cause i wasn't sure what to drink tonight!
