Any men on Juliana bikes?

Hi everyone.

I'm in the market for a new (to me) bike and really love the Hightower. There seems to be loads of Santa Cruz bikes for sale used, including Hightowers, but most are L or XL.

I'm 172cm (5ft 7.5 inches) and weigh 71kg (157lb). As far as I can see, the Juliana Maverick is identical to the Hightower, size medium is exactly the same geometry, the only difference being women's specific saddle and grips, "lighter shock tune" and marketing BS.

I have found a few Juliana Maverick's for sale in outstanding condition for about 35% cheaper than the Hightower.

Am I missing something? Any other males out there riding Julianas?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Hey there Miss

Don't let any man tell you what bike you can ride! You do what you want!

I kid , I kid.

Rode my buddies girlfriends a few times when I was deciding on a new bike. We are similar height and weight and the shock tune was too light for me but easy fix. Liked it enough that I bought a hightower and I dont notice any difference between the two frames.

Go for it if you can save that much cash. I would do it for sure.

I'm not on one but would not have an issue riding one. You could always change out or remove the decals if that would help.

The only real difference between the HT and Maverick is the shock tune and saddle. Both would be a pretty easy fix.
