Roundup: 17 New Hardtails for Hooning

I love hardtails and have a custom Marino currently. I did have the money ready to buy a Pace RC629 frame, as I'm a long time fan of the brand and wanted a 29er. The issue is I'm only 172cm/5'7. How they genuinely believe their size medium with a 479mm reach is suitable for people from 5'5/165cm is an absolute joke!

To me this makes sense if you only ever run your dropper post all the way up, or all the way down. I imagine it would be a bit of a pain to get it to sit where you want it to if you need it in the middle.

@iiman: I get your point about finding your own stolen parts, but it could be a great deterrent to thieves if it became common practice. Any smartphone can read RF chips, so if you reported your bike or parts stolen and it went onto a data base, it could make it much harder to resell, as anyone could download an app and scan with their phone to check if stolen. I think it's a great idea.
