Review: SDG Tellis V2 Dropper Post - No Slop, More Drop
Orbea, YT and others use rebranded SDG Tellis posts. People don't realise this and take them off their new bikes to "upgrade", which means there's usually bargains to be had on FB market place etc. I picked up a brand new Orbea branded Tellis last year for £27! The guy I bought it off said he had removed it to "upgrade to an SDG Tellis"!!! hahaha

First Look: DMR's Trailstar Titanium Hardtail
@somebody-else: I bought a Marino, and I must admit I'm a little disappointed. It's beautifully made and looks fanny-tastic, but it's a bit of a heffa and it's incredibly stiff, with none of that mystical steel compliance or zing. Took ages to decide on the correct back tyre to damp it sufficiently (butcher T9). I do enjoy riding it though, it's a bloody steamroller.

First Look: Pace Cycles' RC529 Hardtail
I spend too much time on the pace website! One day I will be able to pull the trigger on an RC295... I've recently built up a Marino frame I picked up cheap, with similar geo to this RC529, except for the reach. It's 465mm (unsagged) and feel it's at the limit of sizing for me at 5'8. I'm not sure I could ride an RC529 now with those reach figures.

First Ride: Nukeproof Megawatt Carbon With SRAM Powertrain
I'm consistently amazed by how many ebikes I see out on the trails these days! Where the hell does everyone get this money from?! Can I have some please? I would get a new car with it though, not an ebike...

Hunt Wheels Announce All New XC Wide Alloy Wheelset
The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots of the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremie pipe to the differential girdle spring on the “up” end of the grammeters.

DH Bike Review: Orange 279 - A Staple of British Downhill Racing
I don't get all the hate for Orange, particularly from people who probably won't have ever seen one on the trails, let alone ridden one. I get that aesthetics is subjective, and the general herd mentality is to hate anything that looks different. Here in the UK I see an Orange on pretty much every ride I go on. They are everywhere! I don't own an full suspension Orange myself, but I do have a couple of classic orange HTs and in all of the owners groups there is never a bad word to be said about the bikes, or the service from Orange as a company. From what I hear, the bikes are incredibly robust, reliable, take an absolute beating even in UK winter conditions and just work. They hold their value incredibly well too... The standard warranty on all new bikes BTW (except the downhill bikes) is 5-years too. As far as value goes, these are not mass produced in a factory in China, so what do you expect? Plus the entire industry is charging silly prices at the moment...

[Updated with Official Response] Stanton Bikes Calls Administrators, Up For Sale
It's a tough time for small business. Fingers crossed Stanton gets picked up by someone else and the staff get to keep their jobs... Lets hope we don't see similar situations for Cotic, Starling, Kingdom and the like.
