I have a set of wellgo pedals Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.wellgo.com.tw/p-image/B102.jpg
They arnt these pedals but have the same axle design same type of end on the axle and thats all that matters

When i have them in my hand i can feel some movement in the axle, and when i have them on the bike and i shake it/drop a tire on the ground i can really hear the pedals, is there any way to fix this with these style pedals or do i just have to wait for new ones

thanks
Duncan

Wellgos have loose bearings, not sealed cartridge bearings, so after a while they loosen off and the pedal gets some play.

To be honest I've never had to tighten mine, so I cant tell you how, but its not a problem unless they are really loose.

Pedals do move beneath your feet, but when you hear them move it means they need grease, just take it apart and stick some Shimano white grease in there.

Are you sure?
Wellgo pedals come very loose over time, and I assumed it was the cones or whatever holds the bearings in place coming loose.

They can come loose, but it's hard to tell without knowing the model. All pedals have slight movement too. It's just most are sealed and have grease silencing the sound.

pop of the little plastic cap. undue the nut thats underneth it take out the axel regrease then reasemble.

Or an even better idea is take the cap off and try to tighten the little nut underneth. See if that takes some of the play out of it first. If that dosen't work try the other thing.

Ok, rather than starting a new thread, I'll use this one. Anyways, I've heard about Wellgo MG-1 with Ti spindles in them, but I can't find the spindles anywhere. DMR makes a Ti spindle for their V-12 Mag pedal, but I'm not sure if that would be the same spindle? It's not like my MG-1 are that heavy, but every little bit helps.

i have this problem with both my sets of wellgos easy to solve just take the plastic cap of the end of them and use a socket to tighten up the nut on the end of the axle

So I am going to totally jack this thread and revive it. No hard feeling eh? Anyways has anyone seen the platform pedals on wellgo's website? They look freaking sweet, but I cant find anywhere to buy them. Have a look for yourselfUnsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.wellgo.com.tw/p-image/B103.jpgB103

These pedals seems awesome to me. I want to know if any of you have them or know where to get some and how much? What do you think of them?

I had a set of Wellgo MG-52 pedals. Some one the best one's I've ever had. Pins never fell out, weren't too long, didn't tear up shoes, but still held my foot.

Mag body, with sealed bearings.

And FYI to everyone out there, Wellgo manufactures about 90% of all pedals on the market.
