how do you take off a rear wheel that is single speed??

i was wondering what is the best way to take off the rear wheel if you have single speed?
i cant get it off so i need some help on how to do it, thanks

usually just take the chain off, but if it is too tight you will have to break the chain

can u put it back together once u break it??
also i can get the chain the rear cog but then i still cant get the wheel off, any tips??

If you take it off the first chain ring then it should give you slack and you can get the wheel off.

Why don't you just loosen the axel, slam the wheel down the drop outs, take the chain off the cog and pull the wheel off?
It's not that hard.

umm mayb cuz u cant do that with horizontal dropouts

I think you mean vertical... slide your chain off your chainring up front and now that there's slack you can slide your wheel out.

yeah thats right ill do that, only i have a bashguard so ill have to take the crankarm off, but thats no problem, thanks for everyones input
