Finshed the transmision this afternoon, Goodrodge cables are looking gorgeous, and pretty smooth. Still waiting for the propper shifter. E13 chain ring is so light its rediculous.

Spliced one Code Carbon and fully bled (cooked fluid), but the other is FUBAR'ed, and needs to be completely rebuilt, so I shall be hopefully doing that and will post finished pics of my finished braking systems tonight.

Almost finished.

Yes indeedy. was trying for a Gamut one, to match, but unfortunetly I shall have to stick with the equally pimped out e13.

Been a little longer than expected. The brakes were in a right state. My friend had used them for an entire season in the french alps, weighing 17stone and pinning it all day supposedly 'working'.

No surprise they were F.U.B.A.R.'ed. The rebuild was in order, but took its time due to the state of the calipers.

This is worst case of cooked brake fluid i have ever seen. (It should be a clear light yellow DOT 5.1) Jet Black !!!!!

And here is a comparison between the old melted pistons and the fresh new ones installed all round.

The caliper bodies were fine, so after an good clean, new pistons and seals all round, and a flush and full bleed these brakes were finally ready to go at 1am in the morning. Spliced onto my juicy carbon levers of course. Calipers are still a little battle hardened, but I shall have a look into what I can do with them.

Finished off all the little niggling bits to get a rideable bike.

Stoked with how its turning out. After not riding for 7 and and half months, I almost cried when I finally got to have a blast on it. Although I now realise how weak and fat I am after my injury. Bring on the recovery.

That's so nice, congrats.

Been a while since my last post on the finished build.

Due to my clearnace to ride again from the surgeon, I have been riding too much to be bothered about sorting the photos out. But finally thought I'd finish off this little project log.

Big shout out to Owen and SlikGraphics for hooking me up with a full set of custom graphics, one off, designed be myself, digitiased and interpreted by Owen and Slik.

This really is a one of a kind SX now.

With help from Slik, the material choice allows for the metal flake to come through the graphic.

The custom build wouldn't be right without full attention to detail. So Slik whipped me up some new rim decals to match the Fox Shox Blue used throughout. As well as a flipped Saint crank graphic and D2 helmet decals.

I like the pseudo saint Saintstup - A good way to bring your product up-to-date without shelling out big pennies
