Everyone knows that this weekend is one of the biggest events in the Mountain Bike Calendar. So for our riders we want to make sure they look as tricked out as possible thats why we have created Patriot camo and Ausie camo.Josh Bryceland And Sam Dale will be rockin British camo making sure that the Queen herself would be proud to have a set on her DH rig.

Nathan Rennie and Chris Kovarik will be tearing up the Italian track with Aussie camo so each Burgtec rider will be flying there respective flags high at the World champs.

The colour isn't the only special thing about these limited edition pedals we have also put Titanium where possible throughout the pedal with Ti axles, Ti Internals and Ti Pins giving an overall saving of 100g to a set of pedals.

Burgtec wants to wish Rennie, Kovarik, Josh, and Sam, The best of luck for Val Di Sol World Champs 2008!

there are hundreds of better pedals than theese and a lot cheaper so...I thing the guys who buid them are smart...but the people who buy them are stuped
  • 1 3
i think your stupid, people pay for a top quality product, and they get it. The technology inside the penthouse flats far exceeds any other flat pedal. Dont you think theres a reason that the likes of rennie, bryceland and kovarik are using these pedals?

im sure they get paid to ride them. i doubt its out of preference.

300$ u serious? damn... I guess u know when uve made it,.. u can ride a set of 300$ pedals.

Just because the dollar fails at life..... *waits for negative props*

These pedals are designed to have no corners cut and made with the best materials. Just like the cane creek double barrel these are designed to be the best they can be, regardless of cost. You don't go saying 'i know how about making a car that doesn't cost a million dollars' to ferrari do you? If you can't afford them then just buy some other pedals, it is your money.

If Burgtec actually make them for general release, direct I would imagine.

300 for a pair of pedals which weights 660g (without ti axle)... isn't this a little bit officious?
  • 4 3
Ha! I had to look up 'officious'. It is now part of my vocabulary. Thank you. Aside, those pedals are great looking boat anchors, aren't they?

These Penthouse flats pedals are just fantastic. Too good/different feeling to be true really, esp. with 5/10 shoes . Designed to be the best they say, cost no object. Made in the UK too, UK riders - fly the flag. I moved over from 20 years on SPDs about a year ago and these are by far the best I've tried. Just trying to justify upgrading to the ti axles now! Christmas soon I guess ;-)

About 700g. They are very heavy, but a super super good platform, and a joy to service. They may be daft expensive but I don't feel that I wasted a single penny on mine Smile
