Riders Retreat to offer All Inclusive Holiday in Les Gets with Coaching from Rowan Sorrell!
28th July – 4th August 2007
Riders Retreat have teamed up with World Cup rider and master trail builder Rowan Sorrell to offer a more complete holiday. It includes half board accommodation in Riders Retreat’s luxury accommodation, with daily skills coaching from Rowan so you can get the most from your time in the Alps and improve your riding.We wanted to work with Rowan as he has the skill of a World Cup racer so he can lead by example, but also because he is also very personable and is a great teacher. He is an MAIS qualified mountain bike leader and an OTC qualified skills coach so he has the training and qualifications to help you get most and improve your riding in a fun and positive atmosphere.
This holiday will appeal to those who want a more structured holiday in which you can not only explore the huge variety of trails in the Les Gets and Portes du Soleil area, but also push your riding skills further and learn from a riding coach.
Accommodation is at the newly refurbished Chalet Chaumière in central Les Gets, which offers luxury accommodation and includes a Jacuzzi, sauna, huge garage and workshop facilities. Food will be provided with breakfast and dinner with drinks. The chef has been instructed to cook large portions so no going hungry!

Provisional itinerary is as follows:
Sat 28th July - Arrive, meet & greet. Bike tech session to ensure best bike set up for the week.
Sun 29th – Coaching in two groups of five. One in the morning and one in the afternoon- initial dh and free ride basics coaching.
Mon30th - group split into 5 pairs for more intensive 1.5hr tuition sessions: 2 on 1 for maximum effectiveness and learning.
Tues 31st - Guided ride to Switzerland. Evening BBQ and feedback.
Wed 1st - Split into two groups of 5 (according to ability) one in morning, one in afternoon.
Thurs 2nd - 2 on 1 sessions as per Monday session.
Friday 3rd - Guided ride with group to some further trails including World Cup track Champery.
Sat 4th - Home.

The cost for the holiday includes:
