Trek World Racing In Pursuit: Lockdown In La Bresse

The latest installment of the In Pursuit series from Trek World Racing has been released today. Entitled "Lockdown In La Bresse" it follows the downhill riders in La Bresse, France, for Round 6 of the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup. Watch as Aaron Gwin wraps up the overall World Cup with one race to go, Tracy scores another win for her best season of her career, and the venue gets jammed with fans. Truly a race to remember for Trek World Racing.

The next round of the DH World Cup will be in Val di Sole, Italy, August 21.

Gwin was third at the first split and simply could not make up the time on a track this short. Third was where he stayed.

 Last year was more exciting, I'd rather see 2 (or more..) people battle it out till the end of the season than watch one guy win it by miles, but still congrats to Gwinny and let's hope to see more the younger generation of riders follow in his footsteps

 I had more fun this year expecting Aaron to fall off his amazing high than I did last year. There was nothing surprising about Minnaar and Atherton going fast, but Aaron staying fast all year long was amazing.

 I think most of us had a pretty good idea of who was going to win before La Bresse... It was after round three in Leogang for me. After he smashed the competition there, I never doubted he was going to win the overall unless something drastic happened (injury or such).
