Gravity at Bootleg Canyon means Downhill, Super D and Dual Slalom mountain bike races. Throw in 1,000 feet of vertical, gravity-fueled locals, plenty of gnar and a welcoming bike town and you have the, DVO Reaper Madness! The Reaper will act as the finals for this years, 2016 DVO Winter Gravity Series. Event winners will be awarded with prizes and medals in each category and age bracket as well as Overall Series winners and the winner of the DVO Team Challenge Emerald Cup. A $2,450 Pro Cash Purse from DVO Suspension and $100 to the fastest Junior Expert from Trucker Co is also on the line.

This year the Super D has seen a nice increase in racers. For the first 2 races of the series, the Super D has attracted nearly 200 racers! The previous courses were unique and had even locals guessing the track until just before the events. Expect the Reapers Super D course to use some more of the mountains favorite trails, with more vertical, more mileage and more fun.

We feel a true gravity series needed a proper Dual Slalom race. The recent and past work by All Mountain Cyclery has shown just that with making the original Bootleg Canyon Dual Slalom track one of the premier tracks in the United States. Gated, side-by-side racing action at it's best!

#103 Mobbin' in style by half a bike length over Trevor Boldi #26. That half a bike length did not last long as, Boldi ended up ahead of of Smillie at the finish.
