Crankworx Brings Next-Level Action to Les 2 Alpes For a 3rd Year

On 3rd July, the French Alps will erupt with four days of show-stopping antics as the third Crankworx Les 2 Alpes kicks off.

The third iteration of the only Crankworx event outside of North America ushers in some exciting changes, adding sparkle and grit to competition. Chief among these is the elevation of the Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Slopestyle to a Diamond-level event on the FMB World Tour. To honour this next-level status, course designers are going hard, adding new features and some big surprises. Another highlight will be the Polygon Air DH - iXS European Downhill Cup. In joining with the iXS European Cup, this downhill event becomes the only French round of Europe's premier downhill mountain bike race series. Race day has also changed from the first day of competition to the last. A bigger audience and a stacked roster will be greeting the changes, and the event will now be a part of Red Bull’s live broadcasting schedule, with a stacked roster of over 200 riders, representing 17 countries, including Remi Thirion, Brendan Fairclough and Mick and Tracey Hannah. Other festival changes include a new finish for the Polygon Air DH - iXS European Downhill Cup, which will also serve as the home of the Official European Whip-Off Championships, and a 50% expansion of the Pump Track Challenge presented by RockShox.


If all this weren’t enough, some truly rad company, and a little bit of rock and roll, will be adding some extra flavour to the Les 2 Alpes mix. Red Bull will be hosting the official French première of Brandon Semenuk’s latest film, Rad Company. This free screening will take place outdoors in the bike park on the evening of Friday, 4th July, bringing the beauty of the sport, captured on film, out into the mountains for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The next evening, following the Slopestyle, French band 'The Socks' will take to the stage, carrying the electric energy of Crankworx well into the night.

For fans wanting to get in on all the action, a killer VIP package makes it possible. The Les 2 Alpes VIP experience includes accommodation for three nights (based on double occupancy), lift passes for three days of riding and access to exclusive VIP areas for the hottest ticket events, including the Les 2 Alpes Pump Track Challenge presented by RockShox, the première of Rad Company and the Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Slopestyle.
