SQUAMISH, BC – The epic Squamish singletrack ride is ready to go on Sunday, July 15th, 2007, with a start time of 11:00 am. The course is flagged for pre-riding, and the trails are in great shape.

The GearJammer, presented by G. Stewart Kerr Ltd, Chartered Accountants, is a 47 km cross country point-to-point mountain bike race that starts at Alice Lake Provincial Park, North of Squamish BC, and ends near downtown Squamish. 2007 is the fifth year for the event, which has an entry limit of 500 racers. There is still space available for racers to register, although the entries are coming in steadily and there is a chance the race will sell out before race day. Racers are encouraged to sign up as early as they can, to ensure their place on the start line.

If the race has not sold out by race day, then “day of” sign-up will be allowed from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on July 15th, as well as the night before at the Howe Sound Inn. If the race is sold out before then, it will be announced on the home page at www.gearjammer.ca. Racers are encouraged to check the web site regularly for updates.
