Run 1

- Caroline Buchanan takes the advantage against Louise Ferguson in the second run.
- Jordy Scott just pulls ahead of Martha Gill by 0.263.
- Vaea Verbeeck powers to the line to find an extra 0.535 seconds on Jenna Hastings.
- Harriet Burbidge-Smith secures a big advantage of over a second into the second runs.
- Due to a timing error the run between Caroline Buchanan and Louise Ferguson is being rerun.
- In the rerun Caroline Buchanan goes 0.871 seconds up on Louise Ferguson.

- Sam Blenkinsop holds a lead of 0.223 into run two against Garret Mechem.
- Connor Fearon seems to be having some problems and takes a 1.5-second disadvantage in a match-up with Bas Van Steenbergen
- Niels Bensink finds 0.197 seconds on Mick Hannah who sends a huge triple out of the wall ride.
- Nearly a second advantage for Jackson Frew as he pulls ahead of Duke Millington.
- Duke Millington misses a gate meaning the gap extends to the maximum of 1.5 seconds.

Run 2

- Caroline Buchanan takes the win against Louise Ferguson and advances.
- Martha Gill pulls back some time but it is not enough as Jordy Scott still advances.
- Vaea Verbeeck takes another win to go straight through to the next round.
- Sian A'Hern finds some time against Harriet Burbidge-Smith but a gap of 0.961 still remains.

- Sam Blenkinsop takes a big lead against Garret Mechem and goes through to the next round.
- Connor Fearon does not make a second run after breaking a chain. Bas Van Steenbergen advances.
- Mick Hannah goes 0.3 up and goes through to the semi-finals knocking Niels Bensink out.
- Jackson Frew goes fastest again to best Duke Millington by 1.608 over two runs.

Round of 4

Run 1

- Caroline Buchanan takes an advantage of nearly a second on Jordy Scott into run 2.
- Harriet Burbidge-Smith perfectly get around the final corner and carries a lead of 0.421 against Vaea Verbeeck.

- A huge lead for Bas Van Steenbergen as he goes 0.877 seconds up on Sam Blenkinsop.
- It's so close but Jackson Frew pulls 0.176 up on Mick Hannah.

Run 2

- Caroline Buchanan wins again and goes through to the gold medal match.
- Harriet Burbidge-Smith also extends her lead pushing Vaea Verbeeck into the small final.

- Sam Blenkinsop pulls back some time but Bas Van Steenbergen maintains his lead to advance.
- Mick Hannah finds the time he needs to take the lead and go into the finals.

Small Final Run 1

- Vaea Verbeeck has the advantage for the bronze medal going 0.181 faster than Jordy Scott.
- It's another close race as Jackson Frew pulls ahead of Sam Blenkinsop by 0.163.

Final Run 1

- Every finals run has been extremely close so far as Caroline Buchanan just edges ahead of Harriet Burbidge-Smith by 0.101.
- Mick Hannah flies into the lead with a 0.545 advantage over Bas Van Steenbergen.

Small Final Run 2

- Vaea Verbeeck extends her lead and takes home the bronze medal.
- Jackson Frew keeps his lead and gets the bronze medal.

Final Run 2

- Caroline Buchanan goes 0.777 up and wins the Dual Slalom with Harriet Burbidge-Smith taking 2nd.
- Mick Hannah goes fastest again and takes the win on home soil. Bas Van Steenbergen goes 2nd.

 I was pleased to find in the Guardian Online, a profile of Harriet Burbidge Smith: www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/oct/08/harriet-burbidge-smith-on-a-mission-to-get-more-women-mountain-biking
If you read it you will learn that, amongst other things, she has, a BMX background. I see Haz just got into the dual slalom final with Caroline Buchanan, who, as it happens also, has, a BMX Background.
