"With so many young talented riders coming up around the world, making a name for yourself in this discipline of riding is no easy task. It can be frustrating at times seeing riders your age or younger making the progress you yourself would have hoped to have made by now and as selfish as that sounds it's true to my competitive nature. It becomes all too easy to lose sight of what it really is you're trying to accomplish when you're constantly comparing yourself to other people or in this case riders. As cliche as it is to say, the most progress I made this year was when I quit the stressing about always trying to keep up with the competition and focused on developing a personal and original style and just had fun with it. Enjoy!" - Peter Savage
The riding was ABSOLUTELY SICK, but I ain't a fan of all these 1 min 30 sec intros, the riding was incredible but who wants to see a bike being put in the van or a 10 sec blurry shot of somebodys head?
Totally agree. Way way too much coverage of mundane tasks in many edits these days. I think someone should create their two minute intro and then slam it rapidfire into ten seconds, duvet, scratch head, coffee, bounce back wheel, open door, load van, goggles, done! Lets ride!
Not sure a 3.5 minute vid needs a 1.5 minute intro... but good vid regardless. Things is, given the difficulty in standing out, as mentioned in the text intro above, I don't see any unique style here. Great riding, but like you say, so is every kid these days.
sick edit.....could've done with out the 45 seconds of nothing
