With the first downhill World Cup in Leogang rapidly approaching, I thought it would be a good time to catch up with Eliot and Neko. We sat down to find out what they’ve been up to since we last spoke.

Eliot tells us about his move to Santa Cruz and how he’ll be joining Rob Warner in the commentary booth this season. Neko shares how his preparation for the season has been going, along with talking about the US based racing so far this year. The guys also give their thoughts on the upcoming race season. This chat got me really excited for the racing that we have in store in 2021. So sit back, hit play and give this episode with Eliot and Neko a listen.

 Even if I was warned, listening to Neko's voice all glitched made me nervous a few times. Hope he'll get his new mic soon. Otherwise, as always, great content and fantastic hosts! Keep up the good work !

 Thanks for sticking with it. The new mic has arrived! We will give it a test run soon.

 I'm a fan of the downtime podcast in general, but I especially like the Elliot and Neko race recaps. This one was a little rough with the Neko audio problems, but still great to hear the three of them talk about the upcoming season. I am so excited for World Cup downhill to start!

 Thanks for sticking with it. Neko’s new mic is with him now, so hopefully we won’t have that issue again.

 Down vote me to oblivion but Elliot is hard to listen to. Says 'like' way too much and his points are scattered and not well articulated. Doesn't matter as a DH racer but as a commentator and a spokesman it does.

 I'm a fan Elliot, just adding feedback.

 Yeah he is painful to listen to and a bad commentator on redbull tv as well. Be careful tho the woke police will be triggered af.

I really want a rob warner/rachel atherton duo in the booth when she retires. They were amazing together at hardline

 @parkisatool:
He ain't bad but could use a lil constructive criticism. He's more Anerican Pie than I am.

 @parkisatool: Eliot is very passionate about doing the best job possible, so I’m sure he will take the constructive feedback that comes his way and work to improve. I’m excited to get racing going and hear how the Eliot/Rob dynamic works out.

 Strongly agree. And still a huge fan of the guy. But needs to be more deliberate, considerate and intentional. The professionalism needs to step up quite a few notches. Love the psych, but it can't just be a giddy bro fest.

 Insightful comments about Fox. Who knew Jordi is using the stock valves. Some of us want to believe Would Cup teams get hypercuttingedge space age shit.

 They’ve been saying shit like that from the beginning...”stock”
