Josh Lewis Parts Ways with Santa Cruz
@schili: I wish the EU pricing was more on par though. Over here it is still "cheaper" to get a SC than an Arrival.

Field Test: Trek Fuel EX - Evolution Underlined
@danstonQ: same feeling here. Im day dreaming about the Transitions, the Arrivals or the Athertons (bikes, not humans) but at the end of the day I must admit that Trek does a very efficient efficient job and that the brand offers a high quality service to their customers. Can’t wait to see what the next Slash will look like …

Rapha Releases New Trail Gore-Tex Infinium Jacket
@lacykemp: I've got both but it's not comparable. The dirt roamer is a shell with zero insulation. The closest ting to Gore Tex Infinium would be h2no from Patagonia ... and guess what ... the new anorak jacket retails for 320euros so same price than Rapha. I'd be interested to try the new 7Mesh range...

A Closer Look at Stage 2's Cancellation at EWS Tweed Valley
Real life isn't written in a rulebook IMO. In sports history some big decisions have been subject to rule's appreciation right? Im thinking F1 recently where they recently admitted a wrong decision but still kept the 2021 standings, Maradonna and hif "hand of god", the 2002 Kings in the NBA Finals.... it's human decisions in the end and even though I refer to "referee"s, a course Marshal is also a referee and he/she has to make the best possible decision, given all the experience but also all the facts he/she has at a certain point in time. Was it fair? I don't know. And this article produces a "what if" answer. And let's assume that the EWS has less experience and way less personnel that in F1, FIFA or NBA right? So whatever is written in the rulebook, a decision with someone's health in mind has been made and life will go on with it.

Dainese Acquired by Investment Firm Carlyle
@Rygar: They've sold Supreme (with fat margin) after a few months to VF (who owns Vans, Timberland, The North Face) so no Dainese x Supreme collab in sight Im afraid (or relieved).

Update: Spectator Fined €1700 for Causing Massive Pileup on Stage 1 of the Tour De France
@Caligula1620: yes and no. Imagine someone hits your car. It can happen right? You guys/gals make it work on the scene and the let the insurances take care of it. But if you do a hit&run... what would you think then? Cause that's pretty much what she did. Zero assistance and trying to hide for days. So yeah a mistake can definitely happen but the "hit&run" scenario deserved something "stronger". And Im not for jail time. Nor am I for financial fees. But maybe a few hundreds hours of community work to balance it all.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 94 - PBA Contestant Tori Wood on Her First Race and Finding the Right Mindset
@witica: Spoiler alert so stop reading from here if you want : Orbea has released a video about last season's racing and for some reasons (mistake or not) you can see this year's PBA higly praised contestant hanging with the official team. If this is not a hint then what? It still bothers me that they did that but now I can't erase it from my mind. There are A LOT of things that could be improved about PBA but still it's good entertainment for those who seek that.

Must Watch: Mark Wallace, Dillon Butcher, Daniel Fleury & Cole Nichol Explore Scenic Trails in 'Arthur'
Alright Im ready to get downvoted ... but this vid is so poetic, so slow, so long .... I fell asleep 3 times! I thought that we were all here to watch mtb, which is a raw and energetic activity. A little slomo segment doesn't hurt but such a video kills all that "energy" for me.
