Road trip to Rays MTB

For the third year in a row, a group of riders from Quebec escaped the freezing winter for their annual road trip to an amazing place to ride bikes, Ray's indoor Mountain bike park. Every year, we look forward to this road trip as the best thing to happen during our long, cold winter. Riding bikes, laughing, partying, and doing it again every day sounds like a lot of fun doesn't it?

That's exactly how our week in Cleveland looked like, except for one detail. Since this year we headed to Ray's MTB as a group of 12 people, and were lucky enough to have the Rise's media team with us, we decided to do some kind of competition. Since we had 2 good videographers with us, we decided to make 2 teams of 6 people and do a video contest just for fun. We thought it would be great to post them on Pinkbike and see how much faves they get to find out which team wins.

We had 2 rules to respect:

1)Film everything in one day, which was kind of short considering how much good stuff Ray's MTB has to offer
2)Edit each video in 2 hours

Unfortunately, editing during the trip wasn't part of the initial plan, we did not have the necessary software to make a video from one of the cameras, which made our video contest impossible to finish on time. So here are our 2 videos, Team 1 was filmed and edited by Vincent Allard, and Team 2 was filmed and edited by Louis Lhomel. There's also a bunch of pictures shot by Julien Grimard. Hope you all enjoy all of this! We would also like to thank Logan, Bobby and everyone at Ray's MTB!

Anyone know the deal with no brakes at rays?? People in this video are riding without brakes, yet rays website says that all bike must be equipped with working brakes. Yes the guys in these videos are pro, but why make any exceptions like that?

You guys could have saved some driving time and gone to Joyride 150, that place is just as good and closer.

They love driving... on our drive back from vegas we did a 8h detour to go ride the Colorado Spring park. That said, we would love to go to Joyride 150 and check it out.

Wouldn't like none of the Dob crew even be able to ride Joyride 150? Because they have the mandatory brake rule?
