Not gonna lie, that visor does make him seem a hell of a lot more likeable... Nice to see him looking comfortable on the dh bike and throwing in a bit more style than usual too
So you really judge him based on how he looks to that extent? He didn't seem likable before because he had no visor? He looked like a jackass because he had no visor? What about Sam Pilgrim or Reynolds who wear half-lids and have their front teeth knocked out? Definitely don't look like jackasses right?
Ya I'd take the Ferrari. But I don't think thats the right comparison. I don't choose my friends based on how they look. What are you a middle school girl?
Name one comparison that is possibly better than not taking somebody seriously who wears sandals with socks or crocs in general. Again, I'll reinforce that I might judge them to be a bit unfashionable, and I might stereotype them to be a bit nerdy, but that's where my bigotry and most peoples bigotry ends.
If somebody had a "f*ck n*ggerS" shirt on, I'd say that if the person changed the shirt, they'd seem more likable, but we are talking about a visor here. He's not attacking anybody by not wearing a visor!
Pinkbike users shouldn't be pretentious pricks who care more about looking cool than riding bikes. When that is escalated from ughh the squidlid looks so noobish, but I commend the guy on his reasoning to wearing a squidlid makes a person unlikable, that's where you draw a line.
Its kind of like how that Australian told his take on gun control: Mass murder happens. Australians go, ehhhhh we probably aught to get rid of the guns. Vs Americans who have mass murder. Americans go: YOU CAN'T TAKE MY GUNS!
You've gotta be realistic about situations, otherwise we have monkeys arguing over rules rather than the problem itself. Whether or not its intolerant and if it affects people.
The ferrari comparison was saying that he was good either way except he looked better one way. You can save your opinions on gun control for a different time.
They must be some extremely styled potatoes then mate. Haha tbh I see where your coming from but Nicoli's style is based more on precision than for example lacondeguy's steezy moto style.
First time i saw him ride a DH bike it looked way more awful than this video, just give him some time and he will be as stylish as everyone else!
Soon he will have a Monster or Redbull lid on his head
its so hilarious reading comments about this guys helmet and his riding style. he is a better rider and has more style then every single person on this site.
you
yes you
hes better then you
of course you could disprove it by beating him in an event, but im sure you've all got an excuse as to why you aren't in it.
i hope he does great in this comp and shuts the haters up. im sure they'll climb right up his ass within one or two successful events, start wearing visorless helmets, and still be mediocre at riding bikes.
Everyone is so concerned about this kid's helmet, and his style. If you were doing whatever lame ass trick you think is sick, with your visor on your helmet, and this kid follows you up with a cash roll or triple whip, who do you think people are gonna give a shit about?

It has certain qualities about it that would have me liking it more than a Ferrari...

You used the irrelevant ferrari metaphor before I used a contextually appropriate metaphor! What are you talking about?
