July and August are two HUGE months for the East Coast race scene, three big races spanning just 30 short days. We kick it off in less than a week at Snowshoe Mountain Resort, West Virginia for the 4th round of the Pro GRT. Then make our way 8 hours South to Beech Mountain, NC for the GRT's 5th round, take two weeks off for some well deserved rest and relaxation, finally topping it off with a drive 12 hours North to Windham, NY as the best this planet has to offer comes state side. Could we see a "mini World Cup" take place in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia next weekend leading up to the best in the world centering on the Catskills of New York State the first week of August? I'm a betting man and stoked to see who shows up! See you there!

The West Coast needs to get it's shit together and organize a DH circuit.

Wow... Your comment says a lot about not only your racing history, but about your understanding of the GRT series. This year's line up was created by a few east coast racers and organizers after a VERY successful west coast run last year that saw five or six GRTs that were, for the most part, AWESOME. Bootleg, Angelfire, Mammoth and China Peak were four of the GRT stops last season and this year, USAC gave the voting rights to a small minority of east coast racers. The west coast has a lot of it's 'shit together' between Utah, Tahoe, Bootleg, NM, So Cal (the Southridge crew) and a lot of newly-announced race series including in Central States Cup...

Maybe you should look around a bit more (aka, ask someone) before you denounce an entire coastal riding community.
