Words: Scott

A World Class Freerider needs World Class trails, and for Vincent Tupin that means start digging. In “No dig, no ride” we lift the curtain a little on the story behind your local trails showcasing a bit the time and effort that lies behind it. Creating new trails requires not only hard work, but also a bunch of planning, patience, and know-how, which are three qualities mastered by Vinny T. It’s a process stretching over seasons, rewarded with custom-made shredding.

“No dig, no ride” gives us a window into the work and most importantly time that goes into building a great trail. Follow Vincent as he works through the Winter and Spring digging and shaping and then getting to enjoy the fruits of his work across the seasons.

Someone has this pro bike life mastered. He should teach a class on how to make a living in the industry without having to compete or tell people to "like and subscribe". Hats off...

Dude has been filming on the same trails for over a decade and still manages to try to pass them off as "fresh" and PB eats it up. He definitely mastered something, alright.

@scott-townes: @scott-townes: hahaha every time i see your name Scott, i'm like, ok what is this guy will be grumpy about....?
I know exactly where he digs and as you can see in this video he made a trail...
Why being so pissed about it...yes it is the same location but it's a fresh line...
(Yes we have a lot of Long and Steep chutes in this area of the alps)
Props Vinny

@audric: I'm not mad, I find it hilarious how he gets praise for doing the same thing over and over again and you people eat it up like he's doing something revolutionary. LOL its almost as sad as people who buy into influencer NFTs.

@scott-townes: not everything has to be revolutionary. He does cool shit and appears to have fun doing it. It's relatable. I love it. Much like I love your mother. And she loves me.

I guess crashing with all that digging equipment on your back its not a good thing , but when you there it's hard to resist to give a little blast on your way home after few hours of work in winter condition. Still enjoyable video as always, can't wait for sun to be out!

i thought the same, a crash would not end well for him with sharp objects on his back,

Dude rides faster with a backpack full of tools in the snow than most of us can in the dry.

Sponsor: Yeah, sure, just do it on an E-bike.

Jokes aside, great riding and filming! Huzzah for Vinny T!

I'm most oncerned he's not wearing proper safety equipment when operating a chainsaw. Someone call OSHA!
  • 1 0
Yes I would try to carry tools in some thing a bit less dangerous in case of a crash

He's got fast and loose dialed.
