After watching Won't Back Down I have an irrational dislike of Nico Vouilloz. He seems like a nice bloke, but I just seem to associate him with beating Peaty now!

I was very surprised they didn't have any interviews with him in Won't Back Down. Wonder if there is still something between them....

Funny, I'm was the reverse total dislike for Peaty and major fan of Mr. Vouilloz. Nowadays I'm no longer anti-Peaty but still a major fan of Nico. Glad to see him back in mtb racing.
I remember hearing Peaty say he respected Nico for his titles but that was it. "Won't Back Down" seems to put Peaty in a jealous light whereas Nico's interviews are never disrespectful...

Vouilloz was so ahead of his time that Peaty was just the best of the others. Always like them both for very different reasons. Peaty that's the perfect mix of Palmer and Vouilloz.

Im not surprised Nico wouldnt interview, they were making fun of him quite a bit ... I dont think Peaty would of lost nearly as much if he took his training as serious as Nico back in the day

Hi Guys, You're correct. The format here in Valloire is: Practice Stage 1 - Race Stage 1. Practice Stage 2 and then race it twice. Sunday is the same on a new mountain. So the weekend total is.... 4 courses, 6 timed runs (Special Stages), 11,500 meters of vertical drop in total.

I, m a big peaty fan and really respect how he is with his freinds and fans but i agree after watching wont back down, all the anti French and negative vouilloz stuff got a bit boring. It just made it obvious that if you want win consistantly you must be professional and 'boring' instead of the 'crazy wacky extreme dude'

Oh man it looks good! That's what mtb is all about. A-Line and parks are fun but natural trails and beautiful scenery that's what get me started the first place.

Not exactly. The racers ride each stage twice, but the first run is a sighting/practice run and is not timed. After that, they go back up the hill and do their timed race run.

Oh yeah, it appears stages 2 and 3 are run down the same track, so of course they will race that track twice.
