The oysters from Roscoe Bay were outstanding breakfast nourishment. The site originally was used as a log dump through Black Lake due to the out-flowing creek into the bay. The oysters growing at the mouth of this creek live in the brine during high tides, and are flushed with the fresh water at low tides.
