First trail ride today and its absolutely epic! I cannot fault this bike! Handlebars are a tad narrow so opted for some Renthal Fatbar Lites. Question is...what stem? Renthal Strata Duo or a Hope equivalent?

crazy nice sled man, just love Orange bikes !!!...sooooo wuzzup with the demo ???...wasn't suited for your trails in the end ???...if you don't have lift access parks nearby, it's a pain to get the big 8'' rigs up the hill....

I've always been fond of orange bikes dude and I'm glad I've made the plunge! The demo just wasn't suited to what was around me dude, everything felt tame when riding it. This however is perfect for most stuff and the local trail centres! I love it and much prefer it to any bike that I have owned. The spec as standard is amazing. Just needs a few touches to make it mines.

Lets just say that in terms of bike riding etc, I had more fun on this than on any other bike I have owned! Much more useable too, I can see this getting more use than the demo. I have always had a soft spot for oranges (you probably know that) and i have decided to make the plunge! Yours is sweet!

Plus the dropper post is savage! Cant see past one now! Only downfall was the bars felt a bit weird, just arent for me (maybe because im used to 800mm wideness haha!). Opted for some fatbar lites, just undecided on a stem, Thomson one is pretty decent to be fair but i fancy adding more UK parts to it, if you get me?

Nice one mate! What stem are you running? I see hope do a few. Also what reach? Do you know the differences between the standard and oversize ones.

Arnt fat bar lites only 740? Or are they 760? And you probably want to go for a 50-70 mm hope stem depending on what feel you after. Also avoid the dh one and go for the other fr style

The lites are 740mm which slightly more than what's have currently. The reach and rise are better suited to me aswell. The current bars don't feel right and I feel the 780 equivalents of the fatbar would be too wide for the bike and the type of riding its designed for. 70mm stem is what I'm after dude. Do you know the differences between the oversize and standard one? Just need to find out the stack height!

Surely would you maybe be better trying something such as a 760 bar if your used to800 you may find 740 too small and you can't make them larger 
. Over sized is 31.8 mm most common/ standard is 25.4 which is like for DJ bikes. You also now have 35mm from several manufacturers. I think the hope start height is 40-45 mm, I'll measure mine tomorrow and let you know if you ain't got an answer by then

I see what you mean dude but I know the 740mm will be sweet, I think it's the sweep that's off plus I prefer a flatter bar. Oh I get you, I like the 70mm length in all honesty so if you could measure the stack height for me, I'd appreciate it buddy!

Well I've got 760 on my XC rig and I don't think I could go lower with the exception of a dirt jumper. If I got another dh it would need to be 770/780 and ill do it before work and drop you a message. 45 rings a bell as it was too High to use on my old rcts

I appreciate that dude! 40-45mm would be ideal. My current stem is 40mm but there's a 5mm spacer on top so 45mm would be the max.
