Decided that single speed is an option on this bike. On many trails I ride, I never feel the need to drop down to another front cog. 32T is perfect for me. Options on chain devices/crank sets? I suppose Saint might be a bit "too much"?

Raceface Next SL with direct mount N/W ring. no need for a chain device.

Had a look at those. I assume that the chances of chain drop are minimum? My bike is installed with a clutch mech too although may want to go with a shoter cage clutch mech!

Pretty much have to ride the bike at DH pace on the roughest stuff to get a chain to drop.
