Ahh man i wish i could do this near my local hill...but it would be like running at a brick wall expecting a good outcome...far too many arsebandits and dog walkers would just tear it down Keep calm & carry on digging

That sucks man! Luckily its just me and the squirrels out in this bit of woods they tore down my other stuff to build houses so i had to move here... Sucked bc that place had alot of potential..... But this place is nicer, its got better lines, its safer, close to civilization but not too close.... And its really close to my house!

Nothing better than building your own jumps

Ikr! But there also is nothing more difficult...... God its a massive pain in the booty! What do you use to keep the clay from sticking to your shovel?

Its a labor of love.. and if you don't have the burning desire to roast your very own jumps, then it will be a daunting task. The more you work with the dirt, the more you find little tricks and techniques.. to remove chunks of clay on flat part of shovel.. try smearing it on section of dry ground not on the same clay type.. don't just slap wet clay with shovel, use the slap and drag or slap and smear technique.. using your bottom of shoe to press or pack clay, is good but will stick to shoes.. wipe off on other ground, or step on light layer of dry dirt or sand sometimes makes foot packing less sticky.

Yeah the smearing has been working but i just wanna pack as much clay on there as possible and make it smooth so i can hit it and see how far out the landing needs to be... And I can't until its done and its kinda annoying me cause i want it to run like it should but im not very good at this yet so i am still learning and i wanna just know hahahaha and I've been told that spray deodorant works but i had this mini... Like we are talking mini can of it and it worked kinda well but once you dug with the blade once or twice it stoped working..... But when it was working it works really well so im gonna get a normal sized bottle of axe or old spice and try again tomorrow! Hahaha i just want to share them with people too.... You dig or atleast come out and hang you don't have to do much but just come out and you can ride whenever you'd like! Just help alittle and what's mine, might as well be yours!

Thanks man i can't get a good picture that doesn't get soiled by the sun set hahaha, hopefully the clay will become a great take off.... If it hardens and does what im hopping it will be freaking amazing!

It is so great i just am layering it over like a loamy soft dark soil so idk how it will fair!

should do fine as long as you put down a fairly thick layer (make sure all the soft soil is covered) and don't ride it till its hard.
