Sweet man! Didn't realise you could get top guides with tacos. Big Grin Something I'd definitely look into for the Lapierre although I'm actually enjoying 2x10. Razz

Yeah man, this is perfect for me as I'll be running a narrow wide, so its to have taco protection and top guide security. If you do get one, they're £90 and blackspire make one called the Trail X thats coming out soon which is a bit cheaper (£60-70 ish)

2x10 was alright for me too, I can't fault it really. I just prefer having less cluttered controls and a much more simple/clean drivetrain.

It can be a bit much if you're running 2x10 and a dropper post. And the blackspire spunds really good although that MRP looks sick.

Yup, even without a dropper cable i still felt it was cluttered. 2x was handy and gave a super easy gear, but I didn't need it at all, so there was no point continuing running it when I much prefer my bike with a single ring! For sure this looks much better haha, but the trail X is still super nice if you're on a budget, only about 10g heavier too and way cheaper.

Tidy piece of kit, should look pretty good on the stumpy along with no front derailleur.

Sure is, it's very nicely made. Should look good with a narrow wide and yeah, hopefully bike will look pretty damn clean with this on.
