I have a Rune and it is just amazing on the DH sections but the KS-link really works to help go back up the hills. How does the 27.5" feel different? I want to make the switch sometime (currently on 26"). Does it just roll over stuff a bit better? Does it grip better in the corners?

It's a completely different animal.. It rolls through rocky terrian and rooty sections. It's still playful enough to flick around and jump without any issues. Cornering no problem. I have my setup with the flip chip on the slack angle. I like it.

Dayum! Sweet bike man! Also, how does it ride downhill/freeride trails with big jumps and stuff? Im looking for a new rig that can pedal me around and also shred freeride trails, bikepark and downhill (with a few races). Hesitating between the rune or the darkside, so yeah, how does the rune ride all the downhilly freeride stuuf! Thanks

It's very nice on the flowy downhills. Get it you won't be disappointed.

It handles rough stuff very well. I like the suspension platform. 27.5 wheels makes a big difference as well
