They are 2008 55r. Pretty sick fork. May be converting to open bath soon.

should I avoid tst2s? think I remember someone mentioned somewhere that they had a habit of either locking up or exploding

Some of them work flawlessly their whole life. Other times they blow their sealed bath damper and they require an open bath conversion.

The only thing I could really grab off it is the crankset. I'm getting Stevie smith blackbox bars in a few weeks as an early Christmas present which is cool.
