Where did you get the blemish frame? lama?
  • 1 0
You probably saved a bunch from our dollar being worthless

No. It would have been cool to have gotten it form Lama. I got it through a friend that works at a bike shop. It was blemed because it was returned to BTI in the US. I got it super cheap and if you want to know why it was returned PM me.

Was it because the headtube was too much machined ? (I know this sentence doesnt make sens but im a frenchie ok)

Thats what the kid said. No problem found by me. I am using a zs44 internal cup tho. He had problems with an external, for tapered fork.

Yeah, same here I had problem with the 44 external tapered.

He told me he had two frames warrantied. He stated that the cup was loose on both frames. I dont get what you both mean by over machined. Like the ID it a hair too big and doesnt hold the cup in? Wouldn't it be undermachined if you had to cut your headset cup? Because the headset cup depth was longer than the insertion limit on the head tube?

Yeah mine was undermachined. See my pics, it didnt sit all the way in and it was loose.

If any of you guys want, I'll make a custom headset cup for like $5 cost of material plus shipping, if that'd help at all. Would only be like an hour on the lathe and I'd love to make more custom bike shit.

I'm Ok at the moment. No immediate plans for a tapered fork. Focusing on getting the street/park bike built up first. But thanks for the offer man.

Sucks that it's a blemished frame, you really should return it........and I just happen to have the return shipping address right here, 1777 W. Watmaugh Road, Sonoma, CA 95476. Might take a while to get your replacement frame and don't fret if it kinda resembles a black 2010 Two6Player frame, don't worry, it's actually a Decude.......w/acid green highlights.
