Is there enough clearance between the front of the seat tube and the rear of the shock? Also doesn't specialized use proprietary eye-to-eye/stroke lengths?

Yes there is enough clearance and yes spesh uses proprietary mounts/lengths hence the need for a yoke that will work with other shock mounts/lengths.
