 Oh ok cool I s'pose i only really used those cogs on the 4x track it's just i dont usually see it limited down to four cogs

 Aha yeah, well I've been running single speed for the past few years but finally decided to use gears and the only thing I've struggled with on SS was sometimes my gearing was too easy on fast tracks so I just wanted a couple of harder gears for tracks like redhill.

 Yeah i find single speed on 4x a nightmare cause you need the slightly easier gear for the gate start but then in the sprint section between the some of the jumps further down the course you just can't have a hard enough gear that you can still gate start in ... so as soon as i can afford it I'm putting gears on my snap

 Yeah exactly! You gonna be racing any of the 4x this year?

 yeah maybe but not really sure, have a habbit of being slow as shit in races an then way faster off the track

 Ahh okay, you should pop up to redhill on the saturday or something. I won't be there but loads of 4x racers will be and you can just go shred with them and get up to speed for racing

 Yeah maybe although I work on saturdays so i generally only ride on sundays at weekends, went to chicksands the sunday that just went and that was good so we'll see

 Aha, I ran it single speed until just before this photo when I put on the gears. I had considered it as this was the bike I used to qualify for worlds on but when racing in the cruiser class I'm way faster on an actual cruiser so borrowing one to race on

 Fair enough... I'd love a Curtis BMX if I had the $$'s (hard to decide between 20" or 24" though).
