Japan is so high on my list of places I would love to visit! Hopefully in a couple of years...

Thats awesome buddy! Japan has lots to offer from crazy city life to supernatural beauty of nature deep in the mountains.

That's why I want to see it so bad. Tokyo is very high on my list, the Japanese culture seems very interesting to me, and I've only seen beautiful nature when I see pics / articles about it. Must be a mtb heaven as well I think.

How are the possibilities to commute by bike by the way? As in within a city, but also if I'd like to tour through the country. Is it possible to do that kind of safely without having to ride on the highway?

Yes, as for mountain style trails, the hills are full of steep rocky lines. Tons of fun! As for riding around the city or commuting by bike its very easy. The streets are compact and you need to watch out for cars but its fun to explore the cities on bikes. There are more side and city streets than highway so thats all good bro. You would have lots of fun!

Well, for me I have always wanted to go to Amsterdam. You have many great sights there I want to see and taste! I would love to get a bike and cruise the city smelling all the delicious herbal beauty! RideOn!

Our nature is very boring (all flat, just grassfields), but the city of Amsterdam is great. Moved here about 2 years ago and didn't regret it any second. It kind of feels like an old small city / village, unlike big cities like London and NYC, but it has all the great facilities that a big city has to offer. The dutch kitchen isn't very interesting, but we do have a very multicultural taste for food, so you can eat food from pretty much every single country over here (for restaurants and take away no one ever really gets dutch food). It is very cycling-friendly here. If you're ever coming to Amsterdam let me know and I can show you around Smile

Thank you very much! It sounds like a great place. Where I live here in Japan too has a very village like atmosphere. We are out from the big city and and are surrounded by big mountains. However, Japan is very isolated. We don't have a multicultural aspect so you stuck to eat only Japanese food but its always very good. Im going back to California for 2 weeks soon. It should be a blast! RideOn bro!
