Don't think about placing the bars in your lap. Its almost like you toss the bars at the last minute and then good over towards your tire. Start by doing small progressions. First just get the tucking motion down, then just ease up your grip. Eventually start taking your hands off by a few inches then one day it will just be like whoosh and it happenes
